Dr. Hana Masata is a family physician with a special interest in helping people manage migraines and headaches. She sees patients with migraines, vestibular (dizziness-related) migraines, tension headaches, and headaches after concussion. Her approach includes education about migraines, lifestyle management, and careful discussion of medications used to treat migraines when they occur (rescue medications) and to prevent them over time (preventative medications). She also offers treatments such as Medial Botox for chronic migraine, trigger point injections, nerve blocks, and perineural injection therapy. In addition, She teaches Pain Reprocessing Therapy in MSP-covered group medical visits, which helps people with chronic migraine pain/vestibular issues by retraining the brain’s pain pathways using principles of neuroplasticity.
